My dad finally had time to help me get these pictures posted. I thought people would want to see these places since they are closed right now because of the government shutdown. This vacation was awesome! We went to Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef National Parks. I liked hiking really high and seeing the view below. The rocks were cool! It rained on us most of the time at Zion NP. At least it was cool and not hot like Capitol Reef NP. I hope you like the post.
My dad finally got around to helping me put this post up! These pictures are from my Thanksgiving Vacation in Colorado. I had a really fun time playing with the puppies at the house next door to my Uncle Larry & Aunt Wendy’s. We wanted to take a puppy home, but my mom wouldn’t let us. I guess one dog is good enough for now.
This month, I went to Snowbasin with my family to take pictures of the fall leaves. It was fun to ride the gondola up the mountain and view the valley below. The next week we took a hike along the Weber Pathway Trail and visited Fort Buenaventura to take pictures. That same day we went out to Antelope Island to take pictures of the sunset. I wanted to take a picture to enter in my reflections contest at school. The theme was “The magic of a moment”. I loved that moment because it made me feel magical to watch the sunset. I loved standing on the shore and feeling the wind go by me. It was so quiet and peaceful. The sun changed every moment. I felt so good inside. I got lots of pictures but posted my favorite ones.
On Labor Day weekend, I went to the Minnetonka Cave near Bear Lake Idaho with my family. It was cool to see all the lime stalactite and stalagmite formations in all the different rooms in the cave. It was pretty cold and went really deep under ground. It was hard to take good pictures because we had to keep moving and there wasn’t much light. When our tour guide turned off the lights at the end of the cave, it was super dark and kinda scary. I couldn’t even see my hand in front of my face! It was hard to climb back up all the stairs on the way out but I really liked finally seeing outside light again. Caves are awesome!!
I have created this blog to showcase the photographs taken by my 9 year-old son. I think that he has some real talent with photography. He loves taking pictures of the world around him and looks forward to taking many more pictures. We will publish more posts as often as we can. Enjoy the pictures, come back often to see new posts, and tell all your friends!
